OtherV8 Supercar Bruce Mooring, of Lightning Composites on the Gold Coast, has been using ATL's KINETIX® Epoxy Systems and DURATEC® in-mold coatings for several years to meet the high strength and toughness required by the high performance motor-sport industry, specifically V8 Supercars. DURATEC® 904-045 Top Coat Clear is used in areas that require a clear carbon finish, for example, on the dash, door skins and rear wings. Recently, Bruce has made the change from vacuum-bagged wet epoxy lamination, to closed-mold infusion with ATL's KINETIX® R118 / H120 and consumables from the AIRTECH range.
