KINETIX® projectsThe KINETIX® Professional Laminating Series forms the basis of New Zealand and Australia's highly developed, advanced composite boatbuilding industry, and was formulated for the fabrication of fibreglass, aramid and carbon-fibre composites using wet lay-up, vacuum bag and resin infusion laminating methods. The range includes four resins of different viscosity and eight hardeners with different cure rates. Each resin/hardener combination has its own unique handling characteristics, cure schedule and physical properties, and provides a wide variety of working times, viscosities and thixotrophy. Typical applications are the fabrication of parts requiring high strength and lightweight such as high performance yachts, masts, kayaks, automotive parts and sporting equipment. |
