WEST SYSTEM® projects

WEST SYSTEM® brand products are an easily used chemistry set that gives the amateur the ability to tailor the epoxy mixture to meet the project's specific needs.

By using a simple "cookbook" approach you can tailor the handling characteristics and the physical properties of the cured epoxy to suit your working conditions and the coating or bonding requirements of your project.

• Start with R105 Epoxy Resin, the basic ingredient of all WEST SYSTEM brand epoxy  compounds.

• Control the cure time or adjust to the working temperature or working time required with one of  four specially formulated WEST SYSTEM brand hardeners.

• Adjust the strength, weight, texture, sandability and colour of the cured epoxy with one of three WEST SYSTEM brand fillers. Adjust the viscosity of the resin/hardener mixture with the amount of filler added.

• Modify the epoxy increased resistance to fire, abrasion, moisture and ultraviolet light with WEST SYSTEM brand additives.
